Product Review: Etude House Honey Cera

Hey Everyone!

I have another skincare sample review today; another line from Etude House.

In one of my other posts, I reviewed samples from their Pink Vital Water line which I did enjoy. For this post, I’ll be talking about three products from their Honey Cera line: Essence, Priming Eye Serum and Eye Pack Cream.

What does it do: Contains Honey, Royal Jelly and Ceramide to plump, firm and nourish the skin.

How much: Essence (80 ml full size) – Php 1198

Priming Eye Serum (20ml full size) – Php 1098

Eye Pack Cream (28ml full size) – Php 1098

If I were to describe thise line n one word, I’d have to say: AMAZING. I loved how they all felt on my skin. My skin felt firm and moisturized after using and the products  were not sticky on the skin. The smell was also delightful; the products had a very soft honey-like smell. But really, it was one product that stood out to me in this line and made me think: “WOW”. I’ll get to that in a bit.

The Essence had a gel consistency and easily absorbed into my skin. I did notice some small bumps on the sides of my face by the second day, but they disappeared as I continued to use the sample. My skin did seem to look more full and bright as I kept using it.

The Priming Eye Serum was a creamy texture, and was not watery. It felt nice to apply but did not do anything for my eye circles. I have dark circles under my eyes that I think are hereditary, and they tend to look worse if I don’t sleep very well. Of the three, this one impressed me the least.

Last but definitely not the least, the Eye Pack Cream stole the show for me. It had a thick cream consistency and was definitely on the heavier side for a cream. It absorbed really well into the skin around the eye area and left it feeling smooth and hydrated. Now, I have a lot of fine lines around my eyes because I rub them a lot (boo allergies). I was very pleasantly surprised to see some of the finer lines disappear within a few days. I only used a very minimal amount and I saw results very quickly. I’ve tried a number of eye creams in the past and none have come this close to improving my lines. My eye area was firmer, smoother and looked significantly better.

Verdict and Will I purchase full size?

I enjoyed these samples from the Honey Cera range a lot. I loved everything about them and would definitely consider purchasing full size, especially the Eye Pack Cream. Once I’m out of the one I’m using, will definitely run out and get that. I’m also open to trying other products from this range. Overall, I think this is a great line of products; definitely worth checking out and giving a shot! 🙂

  1. I just have to ask, where do you get all these samples :)) I would love to try out some of these products but sometimes the full-sized ones are too expensive a commitment without getting a chance to try it first.

  2. I agree! Have you heard of Shopee? I bought the Etude and Missha samples from a shop called SampleHaven on Shopee 🙂 Here's the link to the shop: https://shopee.ph/samplehaven

There are so many great shops on Shopee that sell Korean face masks, samples, etc at an affordable price! Check the ratings and comments before buying to make sure the seller is legit 😉 Hope this helps!
