Well, this is a long overdue post!
Sometime last year, my hair was waist long, dry and a mess. I was already frustrated, but I just couldn’t find the time to go for a haircut. Instead, I looked to hair conditioners and treatments to keep my hair in check until I could make the much needed trip to the salon.
One such treatment was the Ellips Hair Vitamin, particularly the one with Jojoba Oil. Read on to find out how this worked for me.
What does it do: “Provides hair with intensive care, nourishment, and protection to chemically damaged hair. Hair feels healthier, shiny and easy to manage”
How much: Php 45
Instructions: Cut the capsule and pour vitamin onto your palm. Use on shampooed and half-dried hair. Apply evenly and avoid the scalp. Leave it to dry, do not rinse.
Amount: 6 capsules at 1ml
Full disclosure, I don’t actually have chemically damaged hair. I’ve never dyed, permed, or rebonded my hair. I’ve only ever had it cut. That said, my hair was really dry at this point in time and possibly damaged from other causes like the sun, brushing my hair, towel drying, blow drying, etc.
The tiny capsule actually holds a lot of product. In fact, I would often share one capsule with my mom since I had some extra product left despite my long hair. It has a strong but nice smell. It’s a very feminine, floral scent that I thought was lovely on my hair. I appreciate strong scents on hair products since it keeps my hair from smelling yucky during the day.
This product worked wonders to my hair. My hair was soft to touch and felt light. It also looked so shiny and healthy. My mom was also amazed with the effects on her hair. It made her hair more tamed and also very soft. We were both singing praises for Ellips! I was able to manage my hair for around a month before I finally had time for my haircut.
I usually use this 1-2 times a week as needed since my hair looks great for the next few days or so after use.

Verdict: This is an amazing hair treatment that I think would suit anyone, even if you don’t have chemically damaged hair. Definitely check this out, and the other variants of their hair treatments!
Will I repurchase? Yes, definitely!
