Most people like boots, I think we can all agree. Boots are stylish and comfortable, and can easily dress up an outfit, or dress it down. Today, we’re talking about Flat Leather Boots.
My current go-to is this lovely pair of Chelsea-style boots from H&M, priced at PHP 1,690. It’s a durable leather ankle boot that’s comfortable to walk in and lends an edge to any outfit. Today, I’ll show you three ways to wear it.
1. Stylish Casual
This look is great since it can take you from a day out and about, to a night with your friends. And the boots won’t kill your feet! 🙂
I paired a black sleeveless crop top with a pair of light blue high waist jeans. The dark color of the top provides a nice contrast to the jeans and makes the black stand out more. So when you put on the boots, the look comes together as a fashionable but casual outfit.
I then chose a wine colored backpack as it adds some color to the look, while is still in contrast to the light colored jeans . I also find that the backpack itself really adds to the casual vibe since it projects a laid back type of attitude. It isn’t too feminine and isn’t too boyish either.
Style your hair in a bun during the day and let it loose at night! A dark striking lipstick in red or wine would be perfect for this.
2. Casual Date Night
This look is feminine with an edge and is perfect for a casual date night. I chose a classic A-line LBD and paired it with a pink leather jacket (for those cold nights). Â A saddlebag is both girly and sophisticated should hold all your date night essentials, while the boots keep the look from being too formal. It also compliments the jacket.
Curl the ends of your hair and wear it in a ponytail then swipe on a red or a nude lipstick to complete your look.
3. Summer with a Twist
Who says you can’t wear boots in the summer? This dress is perfect for hot weather! The straw hat and shoulder bag also add to the summer vibes of this look. And while you could always opt to wear this with sandals or wedges and complete the classic fun and flirty summer look, boots can also compliment and transform this outfit.
The boots balance out the dress, giving the classic summer look a twist and making it less girly but still stylish. I would think this version is more ready for adventure and road trips!
Beachy waves along with a fresh face with and glossy lips would compliment this look best.
