We’ve all experienced that feeling of panic when you realize a birthday is coming up and you haven’t gotten a gift for the celebrant. Or perhaps on Christmas or other gift-giving holidays, you have trouble thinking of what to get for someone. Well today, I’m here to talk about a Fool-Proof Gift Giving Idea for All Occasions.
Every year at my office, we receive gift certificates from management as a gift for Christmas. This has been going on for a few years now and has really opened my eyes to how practical it is as a gift! Especially Sodexo gift certificates, which are the ones we receive from my office.
What’s really nice about this gift certificate is that it can be redeemed in a lot of establishments – from food to clothes to toiletries and even supermarkets!
As the certificates I get are valid for a year, I personally save mine until such time that I’m short on money and I need to buy something. I’m usually short around August to November, so when I need to buy toiletries or medicine during this time and I lack cash and would prefer not to use my credit card – I pull out my GC’s! Huge lifesaver!
I think giving these as a gift are advantageous to both the giver and receiver. The receiver can use it anytime and for whatever they want, while the giver doesn’t have a hard time thinking of what to give and will be assured that the receiver will be able to get what they want when they spend it. Win-win situation for everyone 🙂
