2 of my favorite sunglasses brands

While in other countries the temperature is dropping as they head into the winter months, over here in the Philippines it’s as hot as ever. Though it normally isn’t that hot around this time of year, the El Niño weather pattern has kept the sun shining bright and so glaringly happy that it’s hard to leave the house without a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes.

Hey guys!

I know it’s been a while since my last post. October was a really hectic month that just plowed right through without leaving me anytime to get personal things done. But anyway, today I’d like to share with you two of my favorite sunglasses brands.

In recent years, I would often go for cheap sunglasses (that don’t really have good quality) since I was always afraid of losing or breaking an expensive pair of sunglasses. I’ve made do with what I could find in random department stores until I discovered Sunnies Studios. Since visiting their store and seeing their many (affordable!) and cute designs, I haven’t gone back to those cheap sunglasses since. I bought the Corey design and I absolutely love it! My boyfriend also owns a pair of their Robbie shades. Even my sister and her boyfriend love this brand (though I’m not quite sure which design they use).

We bought ours at their stall in Robinsons Magnolia (whose staff were super friendly! <3). They have a whole list of their stores on their Facebook about page which I’ll link here.
You can also buy these shades online through Zalora. I was even able to find both the Corey and Robbie designs which I will link below for anyone interested:

Another good brand for sunglasses that I would recommend is Oakley. If you’re looking for a hardcore pair of sunglasses to use while doing outdoorsy activities, or if you just want a pair that wont easily get damaged, this is the brand for you.
I used to have a pair that I really really loved but I can’t, for the life of me, find them! 🙁 It breaks my heart since they are pricier than most sunglasses and they were my favorite. Losing them was actually why I started buying cheap sunglasses in the first place; I couldn’t cope with the loss lol.
I do remember buying my pair at Greenbelt, but you can also buy Oakley over at Zalora (the glory of online shopping really). Check out ZALORA’s collection of unisex Oakley shades over at their website 🙂
I’m really liking their Enduro design and the Frogskins one. No, I don’t care if they’re supposedly male designs, I think I could work them 😉

What are your favorite brands of sunglasses? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for reading 🙂
