This is part two in my review series on Glamglow mud masks. My lovely friend Micaela was generous enough to lend these to me so I could review them! If interested, you can find part one on Thirstymud over here.
What does it do: “An Innovative Peel Off Mud treatment that instantly leaves skin feeling firmer and more lifted.”
How much: $69 for 50g or Php 3,300

Instructions: Apply an even layer to clean skin, avoiding eyebrows and hairline. Leave on for 20-30 minutes. Once completely dried, gently peel off from outer edges and roll off any remaining excess.
Amount: 50g or 1.7 oz for full size; 30g or 1 oz for the size in the photo.
I need to take a moment and talk about the scent of this mask. I was so in love with the scent, I just couldn’t stop sniffing it (like a crazy addict). It definitely smells like coconuts, but also has a sweetness to the scent. Personally, it reminds me of Halo-Halo but that just might be me.
The mask is an opaque white color, but turns silver when dry. This really makes it easier to know when you’re ready to peel it off, just in case you forget to check the time. I would describe it as having a sticky cream-type consistency.
Since the mask is meant to be peeled off, it would be best to apply a thicker layer to make peeling easier (just don’t put too much!). When I tried the mask out myself, I actually placed a really thin layer since I didn’t want to use too much product (since it wasn’t mine) and because of this, I was not able to actually peel the mask off my face. However , I was able to gently rub it off with ease, and wash off any excess product.
Despite that, I was still able to see amazing results from using this mask. My skin was instantly brighter and smoother. My pores were definitely smaller and my skin looked fresh and glowing. My face felt light. I felt amazing and felt ready to take on the world!

Verdict:
I’ve tried other peel-off masks in the past, but none were as easy to remove as this one. And none gave such immediate and amazing results! Although it is quite messy to apply (especially without a brush that the full size comes with), I was very impressed by this mask. I would recommend anyone who loves mud masks to give this a shot, regardless of skin type!
Will I purchase?
Oh gosh, I really, really want this mask! It’s that good. I’m definitely considering buying myself a pot. That said however, it’s still a pretty pricey product. I would say that it’s not a must-have that you need to go get right now, but I definitely recommend trying it out or considering the splurge 😉
