I think I’m a little late on the news (compared to those hardcore Starbucks Planner addicts / Starbucks addicts in general), but I’m positively excited for the holidays now that the Christmas seasonal drinks are out!!!
Aside from the usual Peppermint Mocha and Toffee Nut Latte (my favorite!!!), this year sees the return of Dark Cherry Mocha as the third seasonal drink. While I do prefer the White Cranberry Mocha, this one’s pretty yummy too 🙂
The drinks became available at November 03, along with the start of the promo for the much awaited Starbucks 2013 Planner.
The planner comes in three different colors (green, black and white), and the theme this year is “Moments of Connection”. I checked it out at the store and I noticed that the planner has a little magnetic lock on the side to close it with. Pretty nifty 🙂
Aside from that, nothing much stood out as I flipped through it. It has the usual Monthly and Weekly views, different cover designs for each month (based on the theme of “connections”), and a pocket at the back where the coupons are usually placed. I find it really cute that the cover designs also have little tips and reminders on how to make connections. The coupons seem to have the same theme too (please see below for links to blogs that have pictures of them :D).
Now, unlike last year wherein customers had two options in collecting stickers, this year we’re back to the usual 9 Christmas drinks and 8 core beverages. So that’s a total of 17 stickers for the planner.
Now while the theme of the planner is super cute and seems to have a number of fun little “activities” to do during the year, the design is a little too simple for my taste. I don’t think I’ll be as hell bent to collect the stickers as I was for the past two years. I’ll still be collecting though, who knows, I might be able to still get it. Can’t hurt to have two planners! (I bought the Belle de Jour one at their event in Mall of Asia) Hahaha 🙂 And besides, I can’t stay away from the Toffee Nut Latte!!!
You can collect stickers until January 08 2013 and can redeem the planner until March 08 2013.
