Hey Everyone!
Today, I’m back with a quick review on a sample I tried recently: Skinfood Royal Honey Essential Eye Cream. I really enjoyed this since the sample lasted me around a week or so. It was more generous than other samples I’ve tried, especially for eye creams.
Now, I have fine lines around my eyes since I rub them a lot. So I need a really good moisturizing eye cream to help hydrate that area. Keep reading below for my full review!
What does it do: “A luxurious eye cream featuring rich, aged honey that firms the delicate eye area”
How much: around Php 1700 for a full size if I’m not mistaken
Instructions: “After toner, apply around the eye area in gentle patting motions”
Amount: 30ml full size
This eye cream has a light floral smell, with a hint of something that reminds me of Burts Bees Honey Lip Balm. It smells a bit like dried flowers or potpourri I think, but it’s not an overbearing scent.
It has a nice, creamy consistency and is an opaque white color. It’s a lightweight cream but moisturizes very well and absorbs pretty quickly. After a few days use, I definitely noticed reduced appearance of lines and my skin felt less dry. I would say that this is very close in comparison to the Honey Cera one I tried from Etude.
Rating:
Packaging – 5/5
Price – 4.5/5
Effect – 4.5/5
Smell – 4/5
Overall – 4.5/5
Verdict: While this is little bit pricier than drugstore eye creams, you do also get better quality. It moisturized my eye area and minimized the appearance of lines around my eyes. While I can’t say if the area is any firmer since I didn’t use this for a long time, I will say I got good results from using this.
Will I purchase full size? Yes, definitely! I think this is worth the price.
