Tis the Season to be SEPHORA Glammin

Hey everyone!

It’s almost Christmas!!! Are you excited? I’m super excited and feeling the holiday spirit. I love shopping for gifts and going to Christmas gatherings (AKA eating all the food), and spending time with my loved ones. With the holiday parties I’m sure you all have lined up, in this post I’ll be sharing with you my favorite holiday make up look and how to re-create it.

I’m all about red, berry, or wine colored lips during holiday season. Pair with a nude smokey eye or shimmery eye shadow  and top it off with glowy cheeks – and you have yourself a classic look perfect for the season. It’s my absolute favorite look for this time of year; festive and yet so easy to do.

First lets talk lips. Berry, red and wine colors have always been classic for fall/winter season, and are also perfect for the holidays. These colors are glamorous enough for a party, and are also associated with Christmas making you look put together and festive at the same time. I love striking lips for this time of year.

My choices or suggestions for lip colors would be:

For eyes, since we’ve gone with eye catching lips – I’d like to keep the eyes a little muted like the eyes of the girls in the above pictures. Nude smokey eyes with liquid eyeliner and lots of mascara. However if you want your eyes to still make a statement without being too much, I love love love shimmery eye shadow for this season – who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle for Christmas and the upcoming New Year?

Don’t forget your brows too! Follow the natural shape of your brows, and make sure to pluck out any stray hairs. Color them in with light strokes and brush them into place afterwards.
For brows:
For cheeks I love a subtle flush with a glow. Warm bronze peach or bronze colors are nice, as well as soft pinks and plums. Just nothing too bright so it doesn’t clash with your lips 😉 Then HIGHLIGHTER is a must! It will make you look amazing in all those holiday photos.

I love these cheek products:
For the rest of your face, make sure to use a primer and a good foundation that won’t disappear halfway through dinner and set with a powder. Use a lighter colored or peach colored creamy concealer under the eye, and shade that matches your foundation for blemishes. Prior to doing your makeup, make sure to cleanse, tone and moisturize to keep your skin at its best 🙂

And that’s it! You’re now ready to hit those holiday parties! Make sure to take lots pictures, eat lots of food and rock your amazing look with confidence. Don’t forget to enjoy the moment with your family and also remember the true spirit of the holiday.
