I’m a bit of a sucker for Cherry Blossom themed things. Anything that’s “cherry blossom” scented or even cherry blossom designed (those recent Starbucks tumblers!!) are sure to catch my eye. It’s really funny since I actually don’t know what one smells like! I may have majored in Japanese studies, but I have never had the opportunity to visit the country. Nevertheless, I know the symbolic importance of Sakura in their culture. It really is a very beautifully delicate flower.
Anyway enough ramble, so now you all know why I picked this particular mask up!
The scent of the mask is something I would describe as a fruity floral scent. I can’t quite put my finger on the exact scents, but it familiar to me. It’s definitely a sweet scent.
The mask itself is made of thin material, which is good because the mask does not end up being too heavy. The problem with thick masks is that they tend to slide off your face, especially if you’re the type who likes to walk and do other things while the mask is on. So if you’re like me and you like to work while wearing a face mask, this one’s for you! You will need to be careful though, as since the material is thin, it easily tears. Yes, I tore mine lol.
One problem I tend to have with these types of sheet masks is that the nose area is always too short. Is that normal for you guys or do I just really have a big nose?? 😐 It’s not a big problem though, since I just rub some of the essence onto the part of my nose not covered.
While wearing the mask, I immediately noticed the cooling effect it gave to my skin. I didn’t even stick the mask in the refrigerator or anything. It felt refreshing, definitely a plus for these hot summer months.
Right after removing the mask, I could immediately see that my skin had brightened up a tiny bit. Not a huge difference, but I could definitely see a small improvement.
The next morning however, my skin felt amazing. It was soft and smooth, and felt so moisturized. My skin was actually kind of glowing. I did have a few itchy spots, but nothing serious.

Verdict: It’s a good mask at a great price! I think its a small indulgence perfect for those days when you don’t have a lot of time to spare for pampering but want a little something special. A must try, in my opinion.
